The reason I asked is because that is very similar to the sound I get when I am messing with the "effects" in Audtion and have one of the filters activated. The difference is, once I apply the filter and get out of the editing, the sound goes away. I'm taking it as a resource issue, either with my interconnect with my firewire device or just with AA in general. The reason I am suspecting my firewire interface is because I've had instances where I start a session and right away I'll have a regular "dropout" going on while monitoring. This is a severe dropout, and a buzzing noise will come along with it. If I shut down AA, disconnect and reconnect my firewire and fire AA back up, it's gone and won't appear again during that session. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.
