My freakin Colts WON!!!!!! I reside here in the midst of Bears central and have had to hide my allegiance for 2 weeks for fear of retribution rivalling a PC/Mac war. I wore my Peyton jersey all weekend long (rather pungent now) but fortunately it's we've sub-zero temps these days so I can hide under all my layers. I am so proud of the Colts. I just didn't want to get beat to a pulp! WOOHOO! Now what do I do for 8 months? Oh yeah, maybe I'll audition a bit. Go to Vegas. Meet some really cool people. Things are looking up alreaedy. _________________ Pam Tierney

CRICKET??? Cricket is almost as dull as bloody baseball. Now a match I'd like to see:
Put a kit on Indianapolis or Chicago and watch Manchester United run them into the ground! _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

Dull? Did you say dull?
Perhaps a touch soporific.
Obviously some educating needed here. Maybe I should pack a bat, ball and pads. Any grass in Vegas?

Maiku,
My first "in person" introduction to cricket was in March of 2005 while I was in Australia for 2 weeks. I found it quite wonderful, but then I'm also a lover of baseball, a passion shared by fewer and fewer of my compatriots. (But, quite popular there in Japan, I hear. )
If you decide to bring along some leather and willow, I'd love to learn more. (I'm also trying to figure out if I can bring my bowling ball and shoes with me on the plane to Las Vegas.) _________________ Be well,

Sorry Mike, but in all the time I spent in GB (Leeds, Doncaster, Newcastle)there were I few things I just couldn't understand (and I did TRY).
1 - Cricket
2 - Lawn Bowls
3 - Mushy Peas
4 - Geordie (I tried this in a pub in Newcastle and suddenly some lad was shouting at me "Ootside! Yeandme!" I didn't even KNOW his sister. I thought I was ordering a pint.) _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

The Super Bowl has always been special to me for one reason: It means it's almost time for pitchers and catchers to report to spring training. |

There is a game the Europeans gave us that is incredibly physical. As a matter of fact, the inter-mural squads at Wake Forest U. have a bumper sticker that reads,
