The RE20s are beautiful! (Just about DaveChristi-proof) They just work... and sound good.
PS: I grew up with 3 younger sisters... and now have 3 daughters... I am staying WAY far away from "womenfolk" comments. _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

The term "womenfolk" was used with the deepest respect...radio people or not. Those of us who are/were radio people in the OLD days remember when your girlfriend/boyfriend's father would ask what your did for a livng...and when you'd answer "disc jockey"...you were generally asked to leave. Don't know if it had anything to do with those herbal "supplements" that used to find their way into my body or not...but still. |

Circa 1990, my ex-mother-in-law sat me down very seriously and told me, "I know you're having fun with this whole radio business, but I really think its time that you consider settling down and finding a … (yes she really said it) … REAL JOB”. _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

No, not really. It was more due to the fact that her daughter was a (insert explatives too strong for use on VO-BB here).
I'll use a comparison I KNOW you'll get Deirdre... "Sherry Palmer" _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

I got that one about six months ago from the gf's family.
My response was that I made enough at the day job to support this, had no intention of leaving, and oh, by the by... you're riding in my car that was paid for by VO.
Any questions?
For some reason, I am not surprised by the fact that I received Mercenary Audio GCs for Christmas. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

I have to say that a mic is something into which I read, beyond that I am not an enthusiast or a gear junkie .....................BUT............... There is one mic I would buy for no other reason than pose value .......

yeah, but for a thousand less you can get a U87 in the same finish
if it's all about bling, then I'd go that route first, lol...
Personally, I used to like the Manley, but when they changed their capsule, I really stopped liking the sound. For the price, I'm still looking at the Horch, Wunder, MG, or a good U67. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
