I don't think I would call the other internet location a "forum", more a travesty...

They mean well, but it IS patterned in the likeness of the incomprable VO-BB.

How's that for "fawning sycophantry"... LOL

You know what has been said, "If you can't be first in a category, start your own category", The other places don't know that rule.

Don't let that nimrod upset you, my dear Frank. We're going to have a blast and it's going to be amazing! I am so excited-- I can hardly wait!
BTW, I'd be willing to tie one of his vocal chords behind his back, if DB will hold him down. You should be ready to hand him some copy and a mic.

Ditto on ALL counts!

Frank,
I know I'm a bit late here - but I wanted to be sure to add my voice to the chorus that is telling you to just ignore this guy!
He's not worth your time or energy.
You have NOTHING to justify to this guy (not that you were trying to)!

You are providing a HUGE service to those of us that are so ready, willing & able to learn & meet & grow together.

VOICE2007 to Bust!!!!

I stand properly admonished.

your humble servent,

yes, "ignorance is bliss"... and I shall ignore, not respond to the distractions of the more obtuse.

On a totally unrelated subject - "fawning sycophantry" is going to be the name of my new rock band.

Hey, no choosing names without consulting us. Put it in the Critique Forum please.

I prefer Fawning Syncopation.

I can relate to Tom's words below:

I need to earn at least $2000 in VO between now and March to do it, which at this stage of my development is a bit of a stretch, so please excuse me while I go figure out how I am going to do it. Smile

I was taking a character class at one of the studios in NYC and the head of the studio was sort of beside him self. He told us that he just did a session with James Earl Jones and happened to mention that he had a class coming up and would have to go. James asked if the next time he was at the studio could he join the class because he said I like to keep myself tuned up.
So Frank, you see even the best feel they need to keep learning and working on their craft.
