I have known many outstanding sales people who were horrible sales managers.

also - I grew up watching Larry Bird play basketball. great player ... awful coach.

I’ve always strived to be warm, compassionate, and trustworthy, which has helped me keep a lot of clients (and friends), but hasn’t done as much for me as an aggressive approach might have. I feel I sleep better.
