I have just completed a web "tour" of a mural one of my web clients created.

It's Lincoln Perry's mural at the Univerisity of Virginia.

If you are of a mind, could you take a look at it and let me know if there are any missing parts/ broken links/ what-have-you?

I don't have it linked from his main site yet (although it does link back to his index page), so it's online, but not "live".

Many thanks already. This tour represents between 45 and 60 hours' work.
I should keep track better, but when I get on a roll the days evaporate and all I do is come up for air now and then.

Deirdre,

The only thing I can find is that if you click on "12" directly from the group of numbers at the bottom you'll get a "next" at the bottom right, rather than a "start" and that "next" doesn't take you anywhere.

However, if you are at "1" and click "last" you get a "start" at the bottom right of "12", which does take you to "1" as it should.

I went through every page and hit every link I could find. The only thing that didn't work was the pop-up for Panel 4 on Page 7. No image was contained in the window. Now, my browser acts funky sometimes, so someone else might want to check it.

Pop up for Panel 4 on Page 7 didn't work for me either.

Very nice, work DB. My daughter gradulated from UVA in 2005. She's still in C'ville. I've met former students hanging around, trying to figure out what will be better than just being there. Wink

Very Cool Deirdre!

The only issue I found (& I'm not sure it's really an issue) is that when you go through the numbers on the bottom of the frame by hitting "next" you'll get to the Gallery with the panels within the frame.

This is at http://www.lincolnperryart.com/UVa/UVaGallery.htm

If you then click on the word "Gallery" (inadvertently - like I did) at the bottom of the frame you get to: http://www.lincolnperryart.com/UVa/Gallery/Gallery.htm

Which shows you what was in the frame, but no way to get back to the other pages except by hitting "Back" on your browser.

Like I said, not sure it's an issue or not, but it seemed inconsistent with all the rest which were within the scrolling frames.

It's a BEAUTIFUL job!

Liz

Liz-- THANK YOU!

That's a boo-boo and needs a fix.

I wicked appreciate everyone's sharp eyes.

The mural is pretty nice, too.

If the world were the way I wanted it, I wouldn't have to scroll down to the navigation area every time I clicked next (except for the last screen which has to be big). Other than that, it's swell.

Send me a screenshot, will you, Mary?
What's your resolution?
I have this site set to display at 900x600 pixels, I deal for viewing on a laptop.
On my laptop screen, the bottom of the navigation is a centimeter above the bottom of my browser window's bottom frame.
