Health and Safety warning issued at 1339BST for the AB56 postcode area. Trucker Pie in oven. Ingredients, mashed potato topped with grated cheddar. Contents - smoked bacon, black pudding, pork chipolatas, fried onions and five bean mix (posh baked beans).

That sounds absolutely delightful! Real comfort food that'll pin you to the sofa for at least four hours! Unfortunately, I can't get half of the ingredients over here... but I did something similar the other day... a few sausages (not pork, but if use your imagination when eating them, you can pretend)... poked into far too large an amount of mashed spuds, and the whole thing covered by about a pint of onion gravy made with a whole sliced onion and my own reserve stock of Bisto. All served with lashings of HP sauce. I made enough for two... and then scoffed it all myself Smile

As a shepherd's pie enthusiast, I must say this Trucker's Pie sounds deeeelish.

4 days too late!

Diet update. All meals are served on a tea plate. We are currently dealing with my circumference, sugars, heart AND postprandial "Oh no! I need to sleep!" The latter is simply awful as I go from being my usual active, chirpy and positive self to feeling I haven't slept since 1965.
