Sorry - guess I wasn't clear - yes, click on either of the View Demo buttons to hear what I did for Jitterbug phones.
As a teacher I try to help my students break down a script to understand first what it is all about, what kind of general approach should be/could be used to deliver the script (attitude, pacing, proximity) - then figure out who we are talking to and finally figure out a relationship between us (the voice) and them (the audience).
Tom's script was for the techno-savvy, mine for the techno-nervous. His could be fast and hip and casual. Mine had to be slower, more deliberate, but warm.
This was a directed read - using phone patch. _________________ Playing for a living...

Outstanding! The approach and the read were exactly right.
Oh yeah, we always have to find something to criticize - right? Okay, here it is: When ya go on camera, ya really oughta shave! |

I don't normally shave before going on-camera, but I do apply make up...(Oh, you meant Tom!) _________________ Playing for a living...

Thanks for the kudos. I'm very proud of that spot.
Connie, I hadn't noticed before that you are an MCA-I member. I was a member of the North Jersey chapter for a few years. They were kind enough to help me produce a PSA for the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA). I did it to help a friend get a badly needed double-lung transplant due to her Cystic Fibrosis. MCA-I rules! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

I have been the International President this past year - in the final days of my term. Switching over my duties to the new website this coming year.
North Jersey is still around - touch base with them.
Regards - and Merry Christmas everyone - the Christmas Story marathon starts in about a half hour. 24 hours non-stop. I think I shall go mad. Time for copiuous amounts of egg nog while the S.O. gets his fix of Ralphie... _________________ Playing for a living...

Connie, I can't believe one as lovely as you has any need for makeup. I know, I know, I wouldn't understand 'cause it's a girl thing and all that. |
