Speaking of acoustic guitar chops, I watch the Letterman show frequently and I've just about never seen an act get the reception that Mexican guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela got on his show the other night. If you like watching guitars picked and thumped hard and put away wet (sorry for the mixed metaphor), this is a video for you:

Thanks for that one. The fellow playing the cello is Ethan Winer, who is the creator of RealTraps bass traps and acoustic treatment. His site, Realtraps.com, offers about as much information on acoustic treatment as you will ever find. He's one of the most generous people out there sharing information about creating good sounding recording environments.
