Amen! VO-BB is the single greatest resource for vo I've found. I know that it's made a huge difference in my personal career.

Many thanks to all of you here who are so willing to share your wisdom, experiences and honest opinions.

And a special thanks, of course, to our web mistress, DB. Deidre, you really are the hostess with the mostess!

I sit in a padded cell (with high-speed internet access) all day. Every day.

It would be so lonely without you all. And, without you all, I would never have figured out how to build the padded cell-- and I'd still be paying up the wazoo for studio time down the street!

Thank you Deeb! Kiss

I can't wait for this weather we've been having to clear up though... it gives me vertigo. Frown

Bruce,

Thank you for the vivid word pictures. I think you've nailed it; Perfectly, I might add.

I look forward to coming here and reading about all aspects of this profession. I don't always post alot because The topics usually begin at a deeper level than I have experienced and can share anything meaningful about. But I'm constantly learning from all of you folks and I truely appreciate each of you. Deirdre, You're awesome and I still think you're hot in your gaming outfits. hahahahaha Thanks everyone for populating this place and thanks Deirdre for running and maintaining it. I hope you all have the best holiday season ever and a very prosperous 2007.

Man, Bruce nailed this one. But.."Princess" Fergie?

Amy..."padded cell"...I think of a song "Built my own Prison"
sometimes too. But...no place I'd rather "serve".

"Merry Happy" too all!

Bruce, your description was great. My "office door" is always ajar, because overhearing the vo-bb hallway conversations makes me laugh out loud & keeps me sane during the times when I'm tearing my hair out over some simple technical thing.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Bruce, are you hitting the pharmaceuticals again, or just a scream 24/7?

What everyone else has said... it's a wonderful community.

Happy Decemberween to all!

Me too! A somewhat hectic year (not all VO related, I hasten to add) has had me checking in less than I would have liked over the last 9 months or so. Hopefully that time will soon come to an end (if there was a "fingers crossed" emoticon available I would be choosing it right now Smile ).

Anyway, thanks, Deebs for your tireless efforts on the board. Without you it wouldn't be here and that would be a great shame, as I'm sure everyone here agrees.

And to everyone - have a great break. Here's to a restful period (that includes the unwrapping of some fabby new toys) and a bookings-rich 2007 for us all Wink

Best wishes
Simon

It's certainly been our pleasure, Bruce! Don't forget, next week it's YOUR turn to bring breakfast tacos...

What, you didn't get the email?

Speaking of which, I've been meaning to speak to you about some rather...odd-looking photocopies which were discovered following the Christmas party. There's also the matter of your TPS Report cover sheets...

Happiest of happy to you as well, Bruce, and to everyone else here. Smile

I like to think that you guys are like an "intellectual frat house" in that, while you are inspirational and informational, I can also come here and get a nice laugh during the day. I appreciate the atmosphere that is here on VO-BB, and since virtually everyone here has more experience than me at this, it is practically every post that teaches me something. And, to think, that all of this would not be possible without Dierdre.

Thank you, everyone, especially Dierdre, for everything you do for me.

Ya know, for me this is way better than the office -- the several tv stations where I spent so many formative years -- all those places seemed to have more than their fair share of sweetly smiling backstabbers.

Thank-you DB for creating this place, this "corporate culture" if you will, in which respect is paramount.
