Barenaked Ladies played a small-venue gig at the radio station I do traffic for in Worcester, Mass.

Yeah, I knew better, but Leigh Nash, who sang first, was tempting fate:

So that's where Leigh is. Her sister-in-law works with us in our Television department.
Dare I demonstrate, yet again, my profound ignorance of pop culture and ask, "What's the deal with the green dress?" _________________ Be well,

Dude, there are just some things that can't be explained easily.
Find the Barenaked Ladies song "If I Had a Million Dollars", the live version. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

A Trivia Question for you...
Anybody know what name the BareNaked Ladies first tried to promote themselves as (before they "settled:" for BNL).
Just silly Canadian band trivia for ya!
Oh yeah, for the bonus round... anybody know why they changed to Barenaked Ladies?
Gotta go tune my snowmobile! I kid!

It was in the illustrious WXLO "Music Loft".
Top floor of 250 Commercial Street.
A lot of wonderful things have happened —dare I say it—since Citadel took that station from What-his-name Williams. Joe Flynn is a GM with the best kind of old-school attitude. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Wow. A station "performance space"...that was on my wish-list when 'AAF moved to Brighton...nice though that 'GBH is moving downstairs...we do some "full backline" acts down there sometimes as our FM studio is waaaay to small for that.
Nice to hear that some Citcomm stations are cool...wish my son's experience with that company had been that way. He remembers what it was like for Dad. Sadly with that company..it wasn't. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Yeah, Citadel is the bunch that took over a hugely successful little station cluster in NH and Maine (Fuller-Jeffrey) and crushed benefits and pay.
Then at my station, The Shark, they blew out the senior air staff, i.e. me.
Citadel is no longer owned by the dopes that would come in and wreck the joint, so guys like Joe Flynn can run a station with heartiness and joy. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
