And Bob— I used to and still DO read the dictionary for fun. It all began with the very first Americn Heritage Dictionary back in 197x. It's still my hard-copy resource of choice.

Deirdre,

Me, too. I still enjoy reading the dictionary. Actually, these days (at least some of the time) I get paid to read the dictionary.

In the last year I've narrated a 67,000 word interactive dictionary and right now I'm in the middle of a 30,000 word interactive training series for medical students. (Brachiocephalic artery, anyone?)

Rise to vote, sir.

Do geese see God?

"Do nine men interpret?" "Nine men," I nod.

That said, very funny! At least to me, and the residents of the convalescent home down the way...

Thanks Amy - so I'm so old that only the elderly folks at the convalescent home understand me, eh? Harummmmmphhh....

Well, I'll have you know my wife tells me I am still very youthful. Well, she doesn't say it quite that way. Actually, what she says is that I may be old but I'm still immature!
