All my wife and I have now is a big orange cat. He would probably be a meal for one of the pack if we let him out.

We have a couple of these critters roaming our neighborhood and we're many miles from the nearest open desert.
I will say the number of outdoor cats has decreased dramatically since they got here a year ago.
