Our thoughts are with you, Tom. It's never "time", but 57 is way too young. Take care of yourself and family. Savor the good thoughts, and know that folks here are thinking of you. |

Good Heavens, Tom-- as though there weren't already enough on your plate.

My condolences, Tom.
My father died from colon cancer at 52. I tell anybody who will listen that while a colonoscopy may seem unpleasant, it's a walk in the park compared to the possible alternative. |

Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I had that Flexible Sigmoidoscopy about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm do for another one soon. It was a little uncomfortable at the time, but getting an "all clear" at the end is well worth it. I lost my Dad about 2 weeks before he would have turned 46... heart attack. _________________ "Bailey"

Tom - please add me to the list of those who send condolences and sympathy. I am the same age as your dad, and I have been delaying "the test". You have made me think. |

Sad loss, happy release. Difficult to square that particular circle. You and your family are in my thoughts as you prepare to celebrate your Father's life. |

My condolences as well.
I too went through this same loss not long ago. No matter how "prepared" you believe you are, it leaves a hole that can never be filled. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Tom,
Sadly, I'm one of too many who also lost a father to cancer, and far too soon. My best wishes to you and yours. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.
