It's true. Some of the demos are things like people reciting heartfelt original poetry on their cell phones.

Comedy?

Tragedy?

Yes.

To be fair some of the demos appear effortless. Sorry, should this be in the criteek section?

While he was Voice Talking.

I'm guessing they make special pants for that.

Amy,

OK. You have to buy me a new laptop, because it's your fault I just sprayed Diet Dr. Pepper all over the keyboard. Please. A little warning before you offer up such a hilarious line.

PS: The above is hyperbole. Not intended for children under 18. Do not operate heavy machinery while using. No new laptops are actually required.

And I just booked on about 10 minutes ago through Voice123-- 13 week regional :30 commercial. So, yep!

(Oops! Condolences on the laptop, Bob. I'll buy you a new Diet Dr. Pepper.)

That was real close Philip, but I think you needed to be another 3 feet off of the mic to get the best V123 effect. I loved the traffic noise.

As I've noted before, I've used them to get voices in the past and about 1/3 of all demos are absolutely, criminally awful for technical and talent reasons, another 1/3 at least make an attempt at sounding good (but don't) and only a handful are worthy of consideration. Also dumbfounding are the multi-paragraph life stories, or pleadings, or complicated rate structures that people send in the message box.

Nope-- didn't see that one. Someone contacted me with a personal lead for a resort vacation giveaway spot!
