I just received a newsletter from James Alburger which included the following notification. I thought some of you might be interested .

Just a simple correction: the dates are 21 to 24 (Wednesday thru Saturday) March 2007 for VOICE in Las Vegas.

VOICE - VO artist International Creative Experience.

There will likely be a pre-seminar "get-to-know-each-other" Tuesday evening. However, this "shmoozer" is not set in stone - yet.

Joe and Frank,

In his Webminar last Wednesday through Voice123.com, James spoke a bit about this event. He mentioned that one of the celebrities there will be someone named Frank Frederick. Another will be Connie Terwilliger.

I think I'm going to have to be there if at all possible!

The details in good time folks. Registration for the event is forthcoming.

For those interested (the VO-BB is not intended for this stuff... and this is only for clarification), you may find more information on James Alburger and Penny Abshire's site www.voiceacting.com as it becomes available.

Also, watch for the www.VOICE-International.com site to launch soon.

In addition I will place information on my personal site and on iSpeek's site as it becomes available.

As of this date, Connie Terwilliger, Pat Fraley, James Alburger, Penny Abshire, and some other guy (myself) are our hosts and hostesses and will be offering some great help (and FUN!!!!) during the event - er - Experience. What a hoot!

My thanks to Dave Courvousier (Courvo) and Greg Allen and his wife for their help on this Experience.

Can't say too much more without "letting the cat out of the bag", but I suppose James and Penny did that already. However, mention to other VO artists you know and even those you don't... there will be a limited number of "bottom ends" allowed to participate in this first V.O.I.C.E. event.

Why are we sitting quietly on top of this while JA and PA are blabbing it all over? I thought this was a work in progress...and not for "publication" yet.

Oh well, advance publicity never hurts.

Folks, the "bottom-line" on costs is not yet established. We're working on a bank of rooms in an upscale neighborhood resort off the strip. We chose that weekend, 'cause it's AFTER one of the highest-attendance-betting-events of the year: March Madness. That means our costs will go down a bit.

I'm meeting tomorrow with the resort, and we're doing a 3-way with Frank. 'Should know more on costs soon.

Ask Frank...he's running this show, I'm just his toadie....but this is the seminar you'll want to attend if you want to polish-up your VO marketing and business skills.

Ya know.... I realize we all want to get better in this biz...and that's what this gathering is all about... but I'm pretty excited about seeing as many souls as possible from this BOARD in attendance, so I can get to know all you fine folks much better. There's nothing like face-to-face, to solidify friendships.

I'm gonna propose we all have a few brewskies over a couple of pathetic frames of bowling. They've got a great bowling alley at this place....uh, after some serious betting at the sports book, of course!

OK, but I am at about 140, too... age wise, not bowling average. Or, at least I will feel like it after a few more weeks of logistical analysis -

As DB wrote me recently - "...it's like planning a wedding". I thought I had little and gray hair before...

Come one, come all.. (Limited Seating Available) plant your "bottom ends" and get up and dance around - it WILL be fun...

OK - all the gratuitious stuff aside. It will educational for both the Master VO artists and the beginner - and did I mention fun!!!

We will soon be able to talk specifics, but for now - "hold your horses - please".

Dogone it - I was trying to make this thing a quiet surprise... but then the surprise announcment from James Alburger came and went - and Oh, shoot - it's too much fun!!! Details forthcoming is all I have to say...

...and did I mention fun!!!!!!

This is great! 'Met with the Convention/Sales representative at the resort today...and things are looking good. Rooms are very nice, and so is the facility. Don't want to say too much until it's firmed-up, but be thinking about whether you can come...we hope to get 150 in attendance.

Golf course right next door with discounts for people staying at the Hotel.

I'm stoked!
