I was sent a script (about 2 mins) for a PSA for a legitimate non-profit organization providing disaster relief . There is no word as to whether it is for radio or TV, nor any indication in what markets or for how long it might run.

They asked me to do it for $50. I am considering whether I should make this a donation to their effort, but am hoping to get some feedback from those who may have done similar projects.

Anyone?

Thanks!

If possible, check how much the executives & management of this "non-profit organization" are earning.

Make no decision until you have this information. It will put their request into perspective.

Thanks, Peter. Great advice.

The only information I could find is that this organization apparently is a legit non-profit, registered with the IRS, and that they appear to have operated at a loss in fiscal year 2012.

Googling their name plus the words 'executives' and 'management' turned up nothing.

Thanks for your help!

I think it all comes down to how you feel about their cause.
