last night - through a trail of random youtube links i ended up having to explain to my 21 year old son who jonathan winters was and the relationship with robin williams - which lead to johnny carson (he had no clue) which lead to dom deluise - it was a wild ride.

my point is - there has been so much greatness on this earth that has been forgotten so quickly. that's sad.

Amen to that Todd. Very sad to also realize these iconic people are of no importance to the kids coming up. Now I sound really middle aged!

Hal was a pioneer indeed. Loved it when he was describing his voice and how he works it to rise above the music bed.

I agree with Grandma Pam. But I also remember that not so long ago we were the same kids that didn't understand or appreciate what our parents appreciated.
