As I mentioned before, I've spent the last 2.5 years working on a donation for Locks of Love and finally saw it through today. Andrea took pictures (including one "during" of me with Willie Nelson-style braided pigtails... to be viewed by subscription only... contact me for details... Shocked). This was a good, LONG exercise in sticking with a project commitment and I'm glad I followed through with it. Unfortunately, it caused my son more grief than it did me. The other kids made fun of him because of my hair, so I had to sit down with him and remind him that I was doing this for kids who were very sick and that he should ignore the kids at school who didn't want to understand.

1. Maine driver's license to replace the one from TX
