I'm so excited - I got my first TV vo spot! It was through my new agent and I have to tell you, I thought I blew the audition BIG TIME.

I really want to thank all you VO-BBer's (especially D cool

, because without your guidance, honesty, and willingness to share your wisdom, this might never have happened.

It just goes to show just how little we can second guess what a client wants. You thought you'd blown the audition. They thought you hit it just right. I love that!

Just wait until you see it for the first time. Nice rush!

Make sure you ask the production company for an mpeg or quicktime of the spot so you can use it as demo-fodder and post it on your website.

It's a scream to hear when you're someplace "public". The first time I saw my Gold Bond Foot Cream "Victory Over DeFeet" spot I was getting my nails done.

I can't tell you how many auditions I've "blown" in my mind where I ended up getting the gig. Lots and lots over the years. And of course there are all the auditions I've "aced" and never gotten, too.

Well here's to many more auditions good and bad, and all the gigs you'll get from them.
