Ah yes thanks for that reminder. That's how I can control things on my end.

I never wear cans when I'm doing a read---quit using them a long time ago.

I just hang the phones up and listen to them as my monitor. Guess I either need to get a set of phones with volume adjustment at the headphone, or maybe just get a cheap speaker w/ a volume knob and use that as my monitor in the booth.
