Bob, that 416T and the PaintPot, I had the "T" with that same power changer combo if it's the silver with the white sticker and blue writing. No difference with the 48P, so a deal now if you can find one that is mint like I did. Found one New in the box "old stock" but mint in the blue outer box.
I realized now that I threadjacked my own, going off about the tooth stuff, but good responses on that. How things can go wrong when you don't expect it. Could not imagine not having the ability of doing what we all love!
Thanks, looking forward to your post.

My 416T looks unused. Black w/paperwork in the box. Feared to say what I paid for it. St. Peter would deny my entry past the pearly gates. The seller on craigslist almost paid me to get rid of it. He was tired of the phone calls and explaining what t-power was.
I will post some samples when my power adapter is returned.
I have another straight wire plus gain preamp that I am anxious to try with the 416. I should have it in a week or so as well. I sent it out to be recapped and have a tune up. Here is a hint; It is rumored that millennia uh.... adapted this design for the SSL It is quite a sleeper.
