This story takes place over two days.
Production company in NYC needs a tag line for major car manufacturer commercial. Details withheld to make it appear more interesting than it actually was. East producer contacts west coast (Californee) agent.
"Whom can doom this for us?" she asks.
A few vagabonds receive email from agent. Headline URGENT. I delay a session to urgently respond and receive a urgent reply which contains urgent response from producer. Yesterday at 2.30pm New York Time do job. Only takes a few minutes and the two peeps at the end of the line are very pleasant.
Late last night email arrives from friend in Los Angeles telling me about the praise and worship from production team and agent involved in the "car spot" all directed at me.
"So what, Philip!"
Call a Therapist! I read the email and really needed someone in the room to take a photo of the expression on my face.
I need to appear in a movie and win an Oscar just so a TV audience of 23 billion can see me collect the award with the "where on earth did I put my car keys?" expression on my face.
No praise from my Father ..ever ...Damaged for life! I'm nearly 54 so should be over it by now, but I'm not.
I auditioned a few people from Therapy123.con and a guy from Skusernedht (had to be Alaska) helped out for $12.
"Your Dad had 4 kids from his previous marriage and you have done better than all of them so take comfort from the knowledge that he is sitting watching over you now and ****ing FURIOUS!"
$12 well spent |

It's at times like these that I always fall back on a good Douglas Adams quote:
The chances of finding out what's really going on in the universe are so remote, the only thing to do is hang the sense of it and keep yourself occupied.
Mind you... I think you got a good $12 worth.

Should have gone to Fiverr and saved 7 bucks. 
Better yet, you could have paid $3 or $4 at TherapyBunny.
