Oh, I just realized, getting back to Mary's original question many posts earlier today, there's another VO-BBer whom I've met in person, Brian Haymond. He and I met when he was still living in LA, but getting ready to move here to Charlotte.

Hmmm, let me think... Central USA as proposed meetingpoint... I believe that kinda involves a 10 hour flight...return airfare somewhere in the region of $1100... a 4 star hotelroom... that's another $1100 (a day; including room service)... 14 days... one for the flight up there, one for the actual meeting, 9 days to recover from the afterparty and jetlag one to get really drunk one to sober up and one to fly home... count me in! Wink

Well, if we all came to Holland, the dikes might break. All that sudden influx of noise and hot air.

Sorry, bro. The Mainers looked like they were having SO much fun that I just had to go... I mean, heck, I even gave up my chance to vote for Kinky for governor!

Oh, and so far, I'm the closest American location to Banksey. Smile

Having the chance to scarf KC Beef while meeting with other VO-BBers: priceless.

I just got done browsing our 25-page, 375 name directory because right now...I actually do have some time on my hands. I have had the honor of not only meeting but knowing several VO-BB'ers. As he said, Bob Souer and I met on my way through Pittsburgh back in the mid to late 90's. We worked for the same radio company at the time. Dan-O and I are former coworkers. And, I also used to work with BIG VOICE (Ron Allan) when I lived in Columbus back in the day. I have never met him, but I briefly walked past voicejones one day. His voice is all over this market.

I love NY in the spring......If I am not living there (or close) by then, which may happen soon, I will try to make the trek if I am free.

We Dutch are the water experts... half of the New Orleans officials haven been over here to study the advanced technical knowledge that might help prevent another Katrina disaster from happening. We have 16 million people living here, and on average our small nation is 6 meters or 20 feet below sea level. Furthermore we welcome anyone here... dykes are no exception to the rule Laugh

There has been a plan in the works for some folks out here in the ol' West to get together for weekend seminar on "Branding VO" and "VO Marketing, and a 'meet-and-greet' in Las Vegas in March also.

James Alburger and Penny Abshire, our own Connie Terwilliger, and some guy named Frank Frederick "The Voice" tm - are going to be on the list of Hosts and Hostesses (tennatively).

Plans are still in the 'testing the waters' phase, but will gel here soon.

More on this will be available off the VO-BB soon..

Toodles

Courvo may request that you avoid sweeps months for the LV shindig... Wink
