Aussie connections are notoriously slow, since we are behind the Great Firewall of China or something, but it loaded fine for me,

Really nice work Deirde!

My big thing when I look at a site if first the visual...does it grab me....I liked it.

Second, SEO....if you're not handling the SEO gods, why have a web site...and you've got a good start. Now while Pat Fraley is obviously a pretty important key word to that site, I might work on the banner headlines a bit and some of the text on the appropriate pages with focus on key words like voice acting, voice teaching, voiceover books, voice training and mesh those a bit more also throughout your copy.

Other than that...a better site than he had. He owes you big time. You have great web design talent.

You're absolutely right about the keywords.

It's all going into the alt text.
I need to buy an extra day so I can add that stuff.

I was fighting with the display until 2am.
I've finally called Ghostbusters-- I'm out of ideas on how to keep all the pages aligned.

Yes, a vast improvement. Really, really cool, Deebs.
I love that Pat went to Whitman. And Cornell.

With the help of another PF student I'll be implementing an "iframe" on the books page and that will make me and himself happy with the alignment issue.

Thank God for geeks.

Thank you all for your kind insights and feedback.

D.B.

one thing I noticed: clicking the "9 critical skills" image, bings up a pop up window, but the text is cut off at "surgical clarity.", no add to cart button either (different than the other books) now way to scroll down either.

I wonder what happened!
I may just code it out to include the address bar at the top.
This is how it should display:

That '9 critical skills' problem seems to be happening in IE but not in Firefox.

Deirdre-Looks fantastic! I am having the same issue with the 9 Critical page as well. JSYK. Overall it looks great. I'll have to mark the 12/2 seminar on my calendar. The first time it loaded was a bit slow but now it loads pretty quick. Kudos!

Looks very nice DB - but I am confused... are you not going to carve up the pages and code them and base them on a stylesheet?? Much easier than using map coordinates as far as maintenance goes.

Don't know about that stuff.
I do have a right-hand man now to aid and abet my design schemes, though.

in re maintenance: The one page that will get the most bashing is the constantly-changing teaching page which is going to HTML (instead of jpg image) tonight.
