Great picture, Adam (though for a brief moment I thought you were rescuing him from the clutches of a giant squid!). I did wonder why you weren't able to make FaffCon 5 - since, as wonderful as it IS, I think we need more young people to keep it fresh. But you made the right choice for sure.
Being a father is the most wonderful, hilarious, frustrating, fascinating, puzzling, and fun thing I've ever done in my life. It is also by far the most important thing I have ever done. Also more great news: the "soulfulness" you will obtain by these experiences will now inform your read, and you will grow and do things behind the mic that you might not have been able to do before. Being a father is the gift that keeps in giving, in more ways than one, for the rest of your life.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
PS: I hope to see you at Mimi's gathering, if you can make it
