Slightly OT, but has anybody tried reading from a Nook tablet? I just got one and while it's small, it's quiet and easy to load files onto for reading. |

Not specifically a Nook, but I often read copy from a tablet. The smaller screen size might be an issue if your eyesight, like mine, has diminished with age.
The biggest problem I had with a smaller 7in tablet was the tendency to want to bring it closer, thus bringing the tablet into the soundfield of the mic. I'm having much better luck with a larger 10in tablet.
The e-ink screen, however, would likely be superior to conventional screens on longform projects, due to reduced eyestrain.
Give it a try and see what you think. The worst that could happen is a retake. _________________ Don Brookshire

I'm actually about to try that today with a couple of short projects. I like that I can "widen" the view on the screen to make the words bigger, and scrolling is easy. I'll let you know how it works out. |
