I can't for the life of me find the controls for the mic input anymore. It used to be right there with the name of the track but it seems to have disappeared. How do I make track 2, which seems to default to mic line 2, use mic line 1? Thanks! _________________ Pam Tierney

You didn't say, but I'm assuming you're using an Mbox....make sure you are trying to select a mono input to a mono track...
I would go to setup> i/o to see if in fact both of your mono inputs are activated....if not, just click "default" on the lower right |

I'm happy to say we solved this little dilemma. It's a pull-down selection box near the upper left of the screen that turns on the I/O option in the Edit window. _________________ Be well,

Pam, I had PT running successfully for years, felt comfy with it, defended it proudly, but became so frustrated with how it worked or didn't with Windows, (especially after Windows updates, and anti-virus conflicts) I switched to Audition 3.0 about a year ago, and am happy I did. Not to start a debate or nuttin', just relaying my experience. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Not sure if you're on a PC or Mac, but mic inputs can be shortcut accessed, on a Mac, using the Command button with the = key. _________________ Brian Haymond
