Like I have said, J.S. is the Dr. Phil (or maybe Gordon Ramsey?) of
voiceover.
I lived in Texas for 2 years, and am from Kentucky originally. So believe me y'all I appreciate a straight shooter!

..just catching up to this...
Nicely written J.S. and a fine analysis, too!...mind if I point to it from my blog?

Mr. Courvo, you and anyone is pretty much given permission to quote me, post links, embarass me, make me wake up and smell the coffe or anything else if it will help slap any sense into me or anybody else or for that matter even just for entertainkment purposes.
And if you are copying me, just call it an homage.
For example I am stealing Ryan Seacrest's signature close. Or should I say, it's an homage.

As others stated, that's one fine piece of prose. I shared it with my blog readers. _________________ Publisher: Voice Actors in the News

Thanks. I'm trying to find more time to blog. I am writing though - still working on a collaboration with the founder of 1-800-SUICIDE chronicling his tale of the past 12 years from when his wife passed away while under a 72 hour suicide watch to the present, when he has been recognized as one of the major forces in the Suicide Prevention movement today.
I'm also taking a stab at my first piece of fiction, and hope to have a few sample chapters available soon. It is somewhat adult in nature or what I call "If Jaqueline SUzanne married Portnoy's Complaint.
I've actually been writing a considerable bit longer than I have been doing voice over. Interestingly, when you disect how I ultimately came to voice over, it was because of my writing.
Hopefully I will have something new up on Wordpress this weekend and if it seems worthy I'll pop another link to it. _________________ j.s. gilbert

Parade Magazine made me laugh as in the UK it's a magazine which helped many a 1960s and 70s British schoolboy through puberty.
At first I thought "not bad at all!" Then someone pointed out it was DOLLARS and the time periond was PER ANNUM. |
