FWIW I was finally able to get it to work. Using Aux 1 (pre-fader) Send plugged into the PC mic input as described above, Found a 1/4" mono to 1/8" stereo jack that it would work with. Who knows why, but the setup didn't work on another stereo jack, and didn't work using any mono to mono jacks, even though I am using the mic input on the PC.
Still have to fine-tune levels, ete. but it did work on Skype CTS, and worked today with my sister (thanks Sharon) so I know I wasn't hallucinating.
Have to keep an eye on Skype however; it prefers to use the interface as the default mic input if it is available when Skype starts up, so after I open Skype I have to set the sound card as the input and output source.
Thanks guys!

I've noticed something with Skype- it tends to like to use whatever you most recently plugged in, so if you have a device that's been turned off or a soundcard that detects when something is plugged in, Skype says "Hey! I found a new audio device and even though you didn't tell me to, I'm gonna use it!" _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow
