in my inbox today:
We’ll supply you with the written content. It will be your job to come up with your adaption and creation of a 30-45 second compelling sound track to get the caller to select that deal.
The good news about this production is that it will be a steady flow of work; the not so good news is that it’s a volume production gig that doesn’t support the same kind of pay scale as major branded radio or TV commercials. (It will pay about $10 per script but there will be hundreds to do.)

Hell, it doesn't even support the pay scale of shoveling driveways.

How come I never get these great "pays less than slinging burgers at Mcdonald's" gigs? I feel like such a loser.
But I can't worry about it now as I need to get back to my 42,000 word e-learning project for which I'm being paid $200.
