For one, I'm really enjoying the difference in weather in Portland. Yeah, I know, ask me again after three more months of winter. Also I didn't mention earlier that there's a babbling brook behind our place which just is such an A+ for me. What a sound. Of course it was a roaring creek after we had an inch of rain the other night.
What's really jazzing me right now is the artistic community here. VO-BB's Sam Mowry is a key figure in theater and he and his lovely wife, Cindy, invited about 50 of their closest friends to their home the other night for an annual reading of Dickens' Christmas Carol with about 25 of us performing throughout the house. What fun!
Here's another example...another local artist is taking a Mexican film classic(?) Santa Vs. Satan, and has scored it with original music, which will be played live in a local movie theater with actors and SFX people filling out the rest of the audio experience. Here's a link for the trailer, and Sam does the very fine VO for it:

Yep, I'm going to like it here a lot.

I can see it now, before long you'll be stopping to let passengers cross at intersections.
And so it begins. Enjoy! _________________ Pam Tierney

Bruce,
Thank you for the update and what a fascinating (and a little creepy!) movie night that is going to be. _________________ Be well,

Bruce,
Glad you and the family are settled in and having fun. Stay dry... don't worry about the creek. _________________ "Bailey"

Oh we do. I want to have you all of you interesting people meet one of these days. I see synergy. Or at least a heck of a good time.

+1 on what Stef said! I've wanted to visit Portland for years but have never had a chance. And I hear about it all the time from my next door neighbors who's daughter lives there.
Let the adventure continue! (And keep us posted...) _________________ Bob Ransom
