For me the journey back from LA was a delight! Elisa slept all the way.

Just had a "Ooooo that was good timing moment". When it comes to organising things in advance I tend to allow the things that can wait to wait. Because someone helped me organise flights to and from New York I was ahead of the game. Had I waited until today to book my flight the price would have increased by $2,500. Michty!

Hey all. Just to let you know that I have had a change of plan and have BOOKED MY FLIGHT TO NEW YORK to see you all!! cool Laugh To say I'm excited is an understatement!

I genuinely can't wait to see all of my cyber-friends and have a good old natter over several beers. As a wise man once, so poignantly remarked..... *clears throat:

"w00tw00t!!" Laugh

Wish I could be there... I WILL be in NYC the following weekend, but not that weekend. I really kind of felt like a fish out of water at the first one, and was hoping that this year's would be a different experience. But, I'm sure the rest of you will have a great time and I expect to see some GREAT pix! Wink

Thanks all - I just hope that after a trip from London, we don't all go home at 10!! What we need to discuss (with Eric) is where the after-party will be! Wink

Can't wait to meet you! How cool that so many people are coming!!!

And, I agree... there definitely needs to be an after party. It's my birthday weekend (the day is that Monday) so I will need to drown my sorrows about growing another year older in the company of all of you wonderful colleagues and friends!!!!

Not sure what anyone's plans are outside of the party, but I'm coming in Friday night an leaving Sunday PM. Staying in Manhattan.

If anyone would like to get together, let me know.

Me too - except I'm getting in Friday afternoon.

Although if nothing's going on on Friday night I may try to get a ticket to a show.

Paddyo and I talked about getting a bunch of people together on Friday night for dinner.

Who's in?

As of today it is 15 sleeps until I depart for New York. The hotel booked is perfect for Time Square but as far as I am able to tell has little else going for it. The room has a Queen bed (named Cecile?), a shower and a loo. Is it pretty? I doubt it, but as I have no intention of spending too much time in it I am not unduly concerned.
