"There is a lot of text so the read needs to be a fast slow read." Shocked

It would be nice if that were the exception as opposed to the rule, but I find I get a lot of copy that is just too big for the time-line... It's always a pleasure when I get a script that right off the bat I can tell is well written and will work nicely within the necessary parameters... good writing makes for a better performance.

To quote our beloved board mistress "I can either read it fast or well"

Yes!

Nothing like :50 of copy for a :30 spot. I've got a client that likes to send me those occassionally.

I received two scripts yesterday from a regional company for :60 radio spots. One was 234 words and the other was 239.

sigh

I'm afraid I've got you beat (this week). 262 glorious words. Thankfully the client said "cut where you need to" after I explained the impending disaster.

I've written quite a few :60's in the low 200's, but I tend to go Hemingway and use a lot of one and two syllable words and less effusive and even superfluous hyperbolic redundancies.

Thanx...a video editor that used to work for me made it...now that I live here in NASCAR country after leaving Los Angeles...it works rather well.
