Engineer? Daniel. Stop engineering. Stop producing. Hell even your typing is overwrought! Believe it of not, we're on your side. Everyone wants you to take a deep breath, let go of this completely insane notion that anything you've posted so far even remotely resembles your natural speaking voice (whether you're "explaining something to someone" or not) and strip it down to something approaching normal.

You said "It's the pattern of speech I tend to take on...even when the mic is not there." The only person in the room who believes that is you. I'll be (even more) blunt. If this is your natural speaking voice, you're the biggest slimy douche bag ever.

Ask yourself "Do I have any friends at all? Have I ever slept with a woman without having to pay for it?" If the answer to either of those questions is "Yes," then there may be hope for you yet. Please turn on the mic and call your mom.

If you don't have any friends, are a virgin, and clerks laugh behind your back as you leave the cash register, you might as well put your mic on eBay because your VO future is doomed.
