I want to see a concert later this month at the Pops in SD— at the Embarcadero Marina Park South: The Music of Final Fantasy
Parking at the marina is as expensive as a ticket!
Do you know of some secret-squirrel parking that won 't require a bank loan? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Unless others can pull a rabbit out of their hat... you are totally screwed.
Comic Con 2010 is in town 7/22 - 7/25. Projected attendance 126,000.
Summer Pops is just behind the convention center. Just pulling over if you get a flat is going to be impossible.
However... Parking at Qualcomm Stadium and taking the red-line (special events) trolley to the convention center would be a cheap option. About $5 per person r/t. Parking at Coronado Island and taking the ferry to the convention center would be a nice option... but they don't do that run on Thursday night. _________________ "Bailey"

Could you avail yourself of SoCal's legendary public transportation? _________________ Dangerous.

You could park someplace free or cheap a couple of miles away from the venue and take a cab both ways. We have a lot of folks here running pedicabs within several blocks of big venues on big nights for tips only....maybe there?
