Anybody else get this wayward email today from a "Laura Gabor" representing VoicesOnlineNow.com...looking for new talent to add to their roster?

'Heard of them?

I'm scared to even go to the website to look. Someone tell me what it looks like.

I'll go. I can't stop pounding the pavement here, might as well. Be right back.

Can't find anything wrong with it... listened to a few demos and they didn't suck. I'm considering submitting my demos. Who knows, maybe they have some big exclusivity thing or something.

I've been with them for years. The money's not usually great, but the people are!

Brent Marshall (Metropolis Studios Owner) is a great guy, his daughter and now another couple people run the show of VoiceOnlineNow.com and it is, as Amy stated, a great bunch of people.

They have had their ups and downs in running the "talent" part ut they still hang in there and try hard to make a good thing better.

i'll add my recommendation.

these are the folks who cast me in radio and tv spots for the utah symphony that turned into a year-long campaign.

and while i don't work with them as much as i'd like, i recently got the part of the "cowardly lion" in an Oz-themed parody radio spot for utah transit authority.

good people. dependable payers.

I found one of their engineers at the Digidesign Users' Conference and asked if I could send a demo to him. I've been in their little bunch ever since, prolly more'n 10 years now.

I'm with them too - Don't think I've had any work come through them, but never had a reason to have problem with them either...
