I would throw in a vote for Dell. My original Dell still goes strong today, running Windows 98 in our home office. I keep saying I'm going to replace it when it dies, but it refuses! Bought a Dell Vostro a couple years ago for my new recording rig, and it's been fantastic.

First off, I'm a Mac Fanboy. I love the machines and they love me.

My G4 just keeps running and running and I absolutely love it. I run a department of over 30 Macs and I have only one that won't wake from sleep, but it's six years old and runs 24/7/365, so I cut it some slack.

I have one HP machine running Vista. I need it for my Maya work, and I can't stand it. I turn it on and walk away while it does its updates.

I had an office Windows machine come up with a virus the other day, and it was down for the count. The virus took out all the anti-virus software, wouldn't let anything launch and wanted money to let go. It went by the name, "AntiVirus Suite"

Pleh, back to my happy Mac and a machine that works for me, not the other way around.

Add me to the list of happy Mac users. It's amazing how much LESS time I have to spend doing computer maintenance now compared to when I was all PC.
