Just felt another aftershock of a 6.9 earthqauke centered SW of us in the desert on Mexico near Calexico. It knocked things over. _________________ Gregory Best

Felt pretty good in RB. Like being in a boat tied up by the pier. Mandi was barking because she didn't understand what was going on. _________________ "Bailey"

Good times.
There's been a couple of good aftershocks too. _________________ The Blog:

I was at the theatah - we were doing a matinee and things started to move - eventually to the point where we thought it would be prudent to stop the show to evaluate the situation. One couple left the theater and kept on going. The rest of us went back in and picked up where we left off.
This was up near Marine Corps Station Miramar. It went on for a very long time. _________________ Playing for a living...

It lasted a good long time up here in Northridge. Mild shaking, but it just kept going. It went on long enough for me to actually get motion sick! _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

Wait!! I had damage in my office from this afternoon's tembler. A painting fell off a shelf and landed on my fax machine - I noticed it as I was attempting to receive a fax and wondered why the machine sounded like it was being strangled. Well, my goodness. _________________ Playing for a living...

I felt it here in Phoenix and we never get quakes here! Eight of us were sitting down to a holiday meal and I thought my chair was wobbly because my head was unexplainably bobbing back and forth making me a little dizzy(?), but I wiggled my chair to see if it was wonky and it wasn't. Hmmm. No one said anything so I figured I was having my own little neurological event and I didn't put it all together until I saw the news on line.
Thank goodness it was tiny here. I'm not sure I want to do a big one now.

I find most quakes are kind of fun for about 15 seconds... then I want to get off the ride. _________________ "Bailey"

Fun. Right. This southern boy doesn't believe that, lol.
Glad to hear of no major damage and I'm really glad all my VO-BB peeps are safe. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

The quake was upgraded to 7.2 which means it was twice as strong as Haiti's 7.0. There was less damage because of modern building codes.
There have been many aftershocks some as high as 5.4. Just had a 3.5 I felt that was on another fault 9 mi east of Julian in the mountains. Seems to be greater geologic activity lately. _________________ Gregory Best

yeesh. stay safe Cally friends!!
I was JUST talking to Bobbin the other day about earthquakes and if they get any bad ones in San Diego. I think I jinxed it.
And to think I'm considering moving to LA. These shaky earth happenings scare the ya ya out of me tho. I think I'll stick with hurricanes, thankyouverymuch. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
