This is a possibility-- stealing your demo and using it.
Some folks here Watermark their recordings.
Others don't submit a whole script for a demo, and let the client know they'll be happy to complete the script when an agreement is reached for the job.

This isn't a V!@# Oops, Voice 123 issue, it's endemic in the industry. Just another little thing to be careful of.

That's my approach for online cattle calls. I watermark the short auditions and truncate the long ones, and include a polite note each time letting them know why.
