Found this on V123's blog from a guy who posted there.
Quote: | I'm considered "old guard;" one of
those guys you call on when you're in a jam or want to absolutely certain of what you're going to get -- solid, pro reads in just about any interpretation you ask for. I'm going to take the advice of one
member and submit my demo to www.vo-bb.com for a critique. |
The reputation of the critiques received here must be growing |

"But, no one likes my critiques..." LOL That's their problem.
Just wait until I get a hold of the next one....

"Gee I'm gonna go an git one o' them thar VO-BB demo crittee cues".
Please cut and paste -
The production had all the elements needed and one could hear the influence of the director. The longer portions could do with being a little shorter and conversely the shorter pieces longer. There was evidence of talent, energy, style, potential and a distinct aroma of fresh olives in a garlic and Italian herb marinade.
Based on what I heard I estimate you should earn $65,000 this year with your voice so give up your day job and go for it. |

What the guy should have said was "I want to stand in line to take abuse from Banksey." _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

I think Banksey is on to something. Might it be possible to link to boilerplate for critiques from noobs, V123s, and others hoping for a slice of Philip or others of us willing to shred or support???? _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

You can always keep a text file on your computer to open up, copy and paste, she said with droll cynicism. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Gawd bless yer Guv'nor. A pint of The Red MacGregor from the Orkney brewery will do very nicely. I discovered it on Friday evening and what a discovery it was too! |
