I have a script from Dubai that reads
"Call zero, five, zero, two, five, two three, five, one, two for more…"
How do you break that up?
05-02-523512?
0-50-252-3512?

050 25 23 512 is how it comes out for me. Which is a little weird but saying it out loud is how it came out most comfortably.

this is from a website timeanddate.com. got it after googling "phone number +dubai"

How the number is composed
011 011 is the international prefix used to dial somewhere outside of U.S.A..
971 971 is the international code used to dial to United Arab Emirates.
4 is the local area or city code used to dial to Dubai. (Not added because the number entered already seems to include an area code.)
5 02 523512 05-02-523512 is the local number you wrote. The national prefix was removed from the number. Some letters/symbols are translated or removed. |

I looked up the hotel's phone number and it's listed like this:
04 423 8888
This phone number I have is nuts.

And all the phone numbers in Dubai are 7 digits, written XXX-YYYY.

check this. i just called the us-uae business council, which deals in bi-lateral business opportunities between america and dubai or united arab emirates. i talked to a guy who says 0-5-0 is for in-country, so it would be included, followed by a split as we do in the u.s. thus,
050 252 3512
as for that hotel wrench you threw in there, i've no clue!
---after further investigation, i see the american business council of dubai, or abcdubai.com, lists a phone number.
to access the country +971
then 4 3407566 (with a space between 4 and rest of digits.)
what i DO know is they have a wicked tall building there.
