My favourite quote is "the Meryl Streep of the audio book world". I've often been called the Philip Banks of the Voiceoverist world.

Thanks for the post, Adam!

It's very interesting that she says to ALWAYS wear headphones. Any other audiobook folks feel that way, too? I wonder if it makes a difference whether you're self-directing or not.

It's a personal preference. When I'm recording "alone" and producing I use headphones, If someone is engineering and/or directing I do not.

Barbara is a gem. I got to work with her at a National Audio Theater Festival a few years back. Nice lady and immensely talented.
