Philip,

You'll never be a "nobody" to me, my friend. Smile

"Who's Philip Banks?",
"Get me Philip Banks",
"Find me someone like Philip Banks",
"Who's Philip Banks?"

I hope to be that famous someday. Wink

7 minutes of compelling, engaging radio! Janice Forsyth one on one with the fatbloke from Portgordon. I was merely brilliant whereas as Janice held things together beautifully. The moral to the story is never invite anyone to be the guest on a live radio programme who has the attention span of a 6 year old.

I clicked on the listen now button, slide the play thing along about 25 mins to hear my bit and lasted about 15 seconds. Pile o shite! Janice Forsyth , lurvlee, the fatbloke...jibbering eejit. The fun part was the audio montage they played before introducing me because the producer missed an edit so Anthony Mendez can now claim a BBC national radio credit.

Philip,

You're much too hard on yourself. Quite interesting, actually.

That was interesting. I had to change browsers to get the scrolling bar; it wasn't loading for me before.

That interview was great. And thanks for telling us where to scroll up to.
For me, what is great about your success is you don't take yourself that seriously. Thanks for sharing.

You look great, Philip. Radio works for you.
Kidding, of course.

Thanks for sharing that... and thanks for making me international. I'd forgotten about that!

It's interesting how calm and confident a UK interview sounds. American interviews sound as if everyone is worried about being interrupted. Interesting.
Thanks again for posting this!

I get the feeling that if people in the US broadcast media designed home technology nothing would have an OFF button.
