Recut.

Looking for feedback regarding flow, interest and/or humor, if any.

I love all the performances, except for the Banks impersonation...but how about this for flow?

Lance— Nifty cuts! I will certainly keep them in mind as this demo moves forward.

I'm sure he means in the kindest possible sense of the word.

Very good characterizations, of course. Question from my lack of playing video games: are most voices in games run dry with no music or SFX? I kind of miss all the background stuff I normally hear in animation demos.

Deirdre,

I too like Lance's re-mix, especially because of the juxtaposition of some of the lines, creating some additionally funny moments.

Please bear in mind I have never played a video game in my life and so am something of an expert in this field. The demo has not taken into account the Spliff what happened to fall last autumn and has, in effect, affected the way reads are effectively affected.

There's tons of background noise, ambient sound, music, shots, motor noises, etc. in games.
The casting people/directors/dialogue guys want to hear what you're going to sound like TO THEM. They know the layers of sound will be piled on later.

They also like a longer cut or two, especially to hear how you talk to the player.

Heh. The direction for that was "terrified scream".

I don't know many people who can beat Kara's blood-curdler.
Hers is a slam dunk.

it sounds like some of the many characters that I hear talking to me in my head....only mine have a more masculine tone.

Nice work!

Yes, I'd like to hear more screaming, and grunts! I liked the flow of the first well enough, LOVE the diversity but I think Lance's cuts are pretty dead on for the humor of it all.

I love it - and I also like Lance's cut for the same reasons mentioned. More humor..
