Anthony has a very spiffy tutorial on how to make a single-click download for your MP3 samples on your website.
It works like a charm!
http://anthonymendez.com/creating-an-mp3-voiceover-demo-download-link
If you use Dreamweaver for your web FTP stuff, there will be a dialog box pop up when you upload the demo.php file that doesn't seem to make sense:
Put Dependent Files?
Just say yes.
This really is a fabulous one-click solution for downloads. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I met Anthony Mendez once.
It was a cold and rainy/snowy day in New York City. He came with his tuque and a bag over his shoulder and regaled our small group with tales of his success.
Despite all that, I found him to be an affable fella with a depth of intellect that belied his countenance. ;-}
I'm just waiting for his big move to the West.
Anthony?

I've been anxious to try that code since he posted it. And I love Dreamweaver and how it puts dependents right where they belong. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Thank you.
It's really a cool little code that works great. Believe it or not, there are quite a number of people that don't really understand having to right-click to download.
Quick story:
A friend of mine works in IT at a major newspaper publishing company (they handle several papers in the tri-state area.) A reporter needed support. He phoned my friend, and the first thing my friend said was, "Right-click on the file. A menu should pop up." The reporter said, "It's not working." My friend repeated, "Just right-click on it." The reporter again said, "It's not working." My friend finally decided that phone support wasn't working and told the reporter, "I'll be right there."
When he arrived at the reporter's desk, he noticed the desktop icon had been renamed to "click." True story.
