Hello!
I've done a Google search, but obviously I'm not typing in the right words or something. I'm in a bit of a rush- so I'm turning to the VO-BB experts!
I need to lower the pitch on a file I've recorded (it's a boy's voice, and since I'm voicing mom, daughter, and son- they need the boy a little lower than I can do naturally). I'm using Pro Tools LE 7.1. There is a 'pitch shift' plug in, but I'm not sure how to use it.
I see where I can preview and lower the note- but I need it lower than that I guess. Can anyone give me the blue print of what to do? I would be forever grateful!! _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Kara, I know I emailed you with the answer to the question, but for anyone else who may need to use this feature:
In Pro Tools do the following:
-Choose AudioSuite from the menu bar
-Pitch Shift > Pitch Shift
-Highlight desired audio region
-In the Plug-in, you'll see the setting for COURSE
-In the box it will default to 0 Semiton
-Moving the slider to a (-) negative number will deepen the voice
-Consequently, sliding the control to a (+) positive number will have you on your way to joining the Chimpmunks...especially when you get around +5-+7 semitons
As with all Plug-Ins, you can "Preview" the sound by clicking the button in the bottom left. If you like what you hear, click PROCESS. _________________ Brian Haymond
