When it comes to donuts there's nothing better than a hot KK, especially with a large glass of ice cold milk! mmmmm!! mmmmmm!!

Now that I've cast my donut vote, do the (at this time) 15 voters constitute the 15 fattest people on the board? _________________ - Peter

Well, even lettuce goes straight on my posterior these days, so this thread is torture for me. I have a Dunkin' AND a Krispy within 200 yards of here and it's all I can do to just live vicariously through you guys instead of hot footing it over there and doing a live taste test meself.
Drooling..... |

Dunkin Donuts, hands down, no contest, any flavor. I think they're all gone from the St Louis area, replaced by that frosting-slathered usurper KrispyKreme. I just can't understand the attraction to KK. A fresh Dunkin' glazed and a cuppa turboJoe and I'd be ready to take on anything. |

I'm not a Big Donut fan. I may eat One a year. I can't even remember my last one. However I do know enough to stay away from KK. Had my first one in Pennsylvania. It was the most sickenly sweet experience of my life. They are a dentists dream, but a nightmare for me. I'm from the Northeast where DD has always ruled. There must be one on every street corner around here. I just did a store locator search on their homepage and there are 33 Locations within 5 Miles from here! This is a good thing since I would pick them if I had a sudden donut craving. |

Can't vote...like them both. We no longer have Dunkin' Donuts, but Krispy Kreme recently reopened.
Around here, a now regional chain called Southern Maid donuts is extremely popular. The original location is still open. It's where Elvis used to go for donuts after his Louisiana Hayride shows. And he was thin then.
(Back before Memphis & those fried peanut butter & 'nana sandwiches.)
I'm hungry. _________________ Mary |

Any of these have sugar-free low-carb varieties?? or is that an oxymoron? It is getting tougher when you have to watch your bold sugar. I don't think I will look a this tread any more. |

Yep, me too! I also like the regular, chocolate covered donuts.
By the way, no DD around my area, it's all KK. |
