Want to bet there are lots of medium and small markets in which this will never see airtime?

It wouldn't play here in Utah... darn it.

That's playing all over the place up here with absolutely no problem.

Brilliant!

Frank, it didn't play for me the first time, but it did the second.

I think Frank meant the commercial would not be played in such a conservative state as Utah. Those Morman's have a limited sense of humor.

I couldn't play it because

I think somebody wants to hear the sound of dollars dropping. They will have to listen elsewhere...

Here's me thinking it was an ubiquitous phrase!

When someone "gets" something after a little confusion or misunderstanding, in England at any rate, we say "Oh, the penny's dropped"

I have no idea where it came from, it's just one of those things we say Smile

i don't see how that's much different than the Burger King commercial that's running nationally (both on TV and radio) here in the U.S.

It's too guys talking and one of them tells the other one how when he bought so-and-so he got this other thing "FREE!" and they bleep out the "REE." Then the other guy asks, "You got that for F-bleep?!" and on it goes.

Very funny and I was surprised they run it - but it's running all the time right now.

i'll try to find it online for you guys.

Good find though, David! this one's way better than the burger king one

I first heard Vanessa Redgrave use it in Mission: Impossible. Context helps...

They do not play that commercial in Utah either... referring to the Burger King spot.

In the land "behind the zion curtain" (to steal a phrase)... life is not only unusual, but downright scary sometimes....

I live in another part of the country from the rest of the sheep... Park City, where adulthood is legal.... it's so nice....

Sorry about the confusion... yes, I played the spot the first time on my computer, but it doesnt play well with the state of mind of the State of Utah.

a while back, i submitted a letter to the editor (here behind the zion curtain) criticizing the state legislature for spending time debating cursing in public schools or some such thing (honestly! this is how my--and Frank's--tax dollars are spent!). The letter went something like this:

"I can't #*%*! believe our #*&!! elected officals are spending $**#@!! time on such #**!!# issues as this **$!@! one. Is it possible they could lend a #**!#% ear to more pertinent, **#!)#& pressing issues than this one?"

It wasn't published.
