I have owned this mixer for about 2.5 years now (bought it 2nd hand), and have made literally thousands of dollars recording voice-over with it. The preamps on this mixer are considered by many gearheads to be among the best available for under $500. They are very clean and have tons of gain. I am selling this because I have spent lots of $$$ upgrading to a new preamp/compressor and no longer need this. It’s been dead-reliable, so I’ll be sorry to see it go. It looks and works like new and I've never had any trouble with it.
If you add the optional Firewire card, you can use this mixer to do multitrack recording direct to a computer. (This board does not include the optional Firewire card. Look on eBay for new or used ones). The 1220 has 4 mono and 4 stereo channels, with 4 XLR mike inputs. For full specs, see: http://www.mackie.com/products/onyx1220/index.html
Shipping with insurance is $30, or you can pick it up if you live near Chicago. I have the original box and manual, and will throw in an extra goodie for you. FYI, my eBay ID is fearlessraccoon. _________________ Best regards,

That's a great deal, Tom. What will you use to act as your audio router for Phone patches and/or ISDN? _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

I have a cheap (but surprisingly good) SoundCraft Compact 4 mixer for phone patching. I don't plan on getting ISDN (probably should have years ago...).
Getting any sleep yet? _________________ Best regards,
